Benjamin French, Founder, established French Consulting in 2007 in Sinsheim, Germany to serve and support our US troops and their families stationed overseas. Given Ben’s US Army background, Ben’s desire was to provide military spouses and dependents multiple employment opportunities in Germany and give back to the military community at the same time. Those familiar with the military lifestyle know how difficult it is to be stationed overseas and to be far away from family and friends. Opportunities abroad are also limited and vary from base to base. Ben decided to enter the Contracting arena and establish French Consulting with the initial purpose of providing management and support services to Department of Defense and supporting organizations within Europe. Overtime, however, French Consulting’s footprint expanded to the United States, Asia, and other worldwide locations as well as supporting non-DoD clients.
During the early years of French Consulting, the former US Military base, Patrick Henry Village in Heidelberg, Germany was fully operational, making Sinsheim an optimal and prime location for business. While the Heidelberg bases shut down in 2014, French Consulting’s Headquarters remains strategically and geographically well-positioned as our Headquarters’ location remains Europe centric.
French Consulting’s first projects were primarily in the Army Community Services and Health Care sector. Over the years, French Consulting’s business operations expanded to other fields, to include, but not limited to: Medical Facility Outfitting, Social Work, Logistics and Warehousing, Medical Coding, Relocation Services, and much more. Since then our client base has expanded to commercial clients and other US Government Agencies as well.
